Thanksgiving 2005

This was the first dinner seating for our Thanksgiving dinner.  The lady standing  against the right wall is BK Grant the station manager, while the man to her left is Vladimir, the NSF project manager.  He is giving a toast to open the dinner.  He is telling us how it was 94 years ago that the first explorers Amundson and Scott first visited the pole, in November.
