The Polar Trip

Our journey starts with a very chaotic visit to the CDC (Clothing Distribution Center) in Cheech (Christ Church NZ).  This was immediately after getting off a very long 12 hour flight from LA, to Aukland, and connection from Auckland to Cheech.  Needless to say, no one really had much patience for going through three bags of clothes, to make sure all of our ECW (Extreme Cold Weather) gear fits properly.  If we didn't take our time and do it right though, we could be stuck for a year on the ice with improperly fitting gear.  Not a very promising proposition.
